Develop harvesters
This section covers building custom harvesters to collect datasets from external sources into the CKAN catalogue.
Harvesters automatically fetch metadata from remote sources and create/update datasets in CKAN. GDI uses harvesters to collect datasets from:
- DCAT-AP endpoints
- FAIR Data Point instances
- Other metadata repositories
